Russo Development has been named the developer for a Passaic riverfront tract where the firm has proposed building 458 rental units.
At a recent meeting of the governing body, elected officials unanimously approved the designation. Under the terms of the deal, the Carlstadt-based development company has until Sept. 22 to present an agreement for consideration by the governing body. If that fails to happen, the agreement expires and other developers can present proposals for the property.
